Exhibition Media
A primary focus of Dockyard/Matt Dibbles work has been site-specific
media installations for museums and galleries. Dibble has produced
exhibition content, designed unique interfaces and viewing environments,
and selected the equipment for installations. His art background
has enhanced his ability to collaborate with curators and others
on design teams. Dibbles original video work has been beamed
from the eye of a 17-foot statue at the Corcoran Gallery of Art
in Washington, D.C. and screened on a palace wall in Asilah, Morocco.
Dibble has worked on projects exhibited at a wide
array of national museums, galleries, and historic sites, including:
The Smithsonian Institution
The Museum of Modern Art, NY
The National Museum of Women in the Arts
The Whitney Museum of American Art
The Corcoran Gallery of Art
The St. Louis Art Museum
The Cincinnati Art Museum
The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site
